Which Floor Grinder Fits Your Job?
Propane vs. Electric
Electric for indoor and occupied spaces with dust extraction. Propane for large slabs and sites without power, where ventilation allows.
Walk-Behind vs. Ride-On
Walk-behind grinders handle most residential and commercial work. Ride-ons are built for very large warehouse and industrial floors.
Single vs. Multi-Head
Single-disc grinders are compact and good for edges and small jobs. Planetary multi-head grinders deliver flatter results and more production.
Size by Square Footage
Garages and homes: smaller walk-behinds. Retail and offices: mid-size planetary grinders. Warehouses: large or ride-on machines. Call us to match one.

Common Questions
What is a concrete floor grinder?
A concrete floor grinder uses rotating heads fitted with diamond tooling to remove coatings, level and flatten slabs, and prep or polish concrete. Planetary grinders spin several heads at once for a flatter, faster finish.
Propane or electric floor grinder?
Electric grinders are the choice for indoor and occupied buildings with dust collection. Propane grinders need no power on site and suit large open slabs, garages and new construction where ventilation allows.
What size grinder do I need?
Smaller walk-behind grinders work well for residential floors, garages and tight rooms. Larger machines and ride-ons cover big commercial and warehouse slabs faster. Call us with your square footage and we will match a machine.
Do you sell used concrete floor grinders?
Yes. See our Used Machines page for shop-inspected, pre-owned grinders at reduced prices.
Can I finance or rent before buying?
We offer financing on every machine, and many contractors rent a grinder first. See our Financing and Rentals pages or call (949) 758-0569.
Which diamonds go on my grinder?
Metal-bond diamonds for grinding, PCD for removing coatings and resin pads for polishing. We stock tooling for the machines we sell and can help you choose.
